ChatGPT and Codex will share one usage limit from December
OpenAI has published a help page saying that starting in December, the usage allowance on ChatGPT Plus, Pro and Business plans will be shared across ChatGPT and Codex, measured in tokens instead of separate limits. Instant chat will not count, combined usage will show in Settings, and OpenAI has not yet named an exact date or the size of each plan's allowance.
