Spotify pulls more than 50 million AI slop tracks from its recommendations
Spotify says it has taken more than 50 million AI generated slop and spam tracks out of its recommendations this year and retuned its algorithm to surface more music by human artists. The tracks are not necessarily deleted, and listeners still cannot switch AI music off.
