Germany and Nvidia sign a pact to build AI for factories and robots
Germany's federal government and Nvidia signed a Joint Declaration of Intent in Berlin on 19 October 2026 to develop AI models for physical AI and bring industrial AI into wide use, including small and mid sized firms. On the same day Siemens showed AI results from its Erlangen factory and Nvidia named four German startups it plans to back. No public funding figure was announced.
