Replit makes OpenAI its default and moves Claude to the menu
Replit CEO Amjad Masad says OpenAI is now the preferred partner and default model for Replit Agent, citing cost, partnership and performance. Claude stays selectable, but most users never touch the default, and Replit was until recently one of Anthropic's five biggest customers.
