The US orders civilian agencies to remove DeepSeek, including tools built on its models
The US Department of Homeland Security has ordered civilian federal agencies to stop buying DeepSeek products and to remove DeepSeek, its affiliates and third party products built on DeepSeek implementations from their IT systems. The order was signed in July and made public this week. China says the US is overstretching national security.
