Goldman Sachs pulls Claude Code from traders and bankers, engineers only
Goldman Sachs has limited Anthropic's Claude Code and Microsoft's GitHub coding tools to engineers, according to internal guidance updated in October. Most traders and bankers lose access, strats are exempt, and the move comes only four months after the bank's CIO praised vibe coding by non technical staff.
