OpenAI engineer arrested for allegedly bugging an executive conference room
Federal prosecutors say OpenAI engineer Abdulrahman Alfozan hid a sophisticated audio recorder behind a television in an executive conference room at the company's San Francisco headquarters. OpenAI found the device on September 30, used its own models to help identify who planted it, referred the case to the FBI, and fired him the day he was arrested.
