Bill Gates warns AI-powered cyberattacks will bring negative surprises within a year
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates told CNN's Jake Tapper that bad actors using the latest AI models with the safeguards removed will produce "a lot of negative surprises" over the next year, mostly in cybersecurity. He says the near term danger is people misusing AI, not AI slipping out of control.
