UK wins back early access to OpenAI and Anthropic models and plans AI incident reporting
Britain's AI Security Institute will once again get the most powerful OpenAI and Anthropic models before they are released, after the White House dropped a rule that made labs wait for US clearance. On the same day, the UK announced plans for AI incident and near miss reporting, and a response plan for runaway AI agents.
