Anthropic commits 5% of its shares to a new Public Benefit Fund
Anthropic says it will commit 5% of its shares to a new Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, subject to stockholder approval, and the board can add 2% more for every 50% rise in the company's value above a set baseline. Together with earlier pledges by its co-founders and employees, roughly 20% of the company would be dedicated to the public good.
